behind the scenes

Our Team

So far consisting only of students, our team is open to anyone interested in promoting health-focussed living through engaging events and practical initiatives that drive awareness and connect people.

Alumni Members

So far we don't have any alumni members. But being part of our team is not a commitment forever. Each contribution is appreciated. And it is completely fine to later move on to other projects & commitments.

How we work

Team Concept & Structure

As a team, health & longevity is something we are all aware is critical to how we experience our own individual lives now and how we will do in the future. At the same time, we all have individual goals, projects and responsibilities outside of health and this club, and that is completely fine.

The way our team works together is therefore based on transparency, taking responsibility, and taking practical action.

  • Our work is split up into three rough tasks groups consisting of event management, partner & sponsor management, and marketing & promotion

  • Additionally, we are working on acquiring funding to ensure the long-term feasibility of our activities as a student club.

  • For efficient communication, we come together once per week in a virtual update meeting, and we communicate directly as needed outside of that

  • For each university semester, we create an event plan to have a shared understanding of what it is we want to achieve

  • As part of the semester plan, we assign event leads to take charge & responsibility for individual events with the support of the rest of the team

  • We prioritise transparent action, experimentation, and autonomy over endless discussions to make sure things get done

  • We show each other respect by communicating properly, providing constructive feedback and being mindful of each others' circumstances.

Lastly, being part of our team is not a competition. For both the community and team, our goal is to nurture a supportive & inclusive environment that anyone can feel comfortable to engage with, so that we can achieve our goal of making a positive contribution to higher health standards.

As part of this, we realize . . .

  • The sensitivity of the topics we are addressing

  • Our own limitations and lack of expert knowledge

  • Our own vices and bad habits

  • The foolishness of judgement
